Cupboard Privacy Policy
Effective July 29, 2026
Cupboard helps you track groceries, expiration dates, shopping lists, and recipe ideas. Your cupboard data is stored on your device. We do not run accounts for Cupboard and we do not sell personal information.
Information You Enter
Items, photos, receipt drafts, recipe history, favorites, and shopping lists stay on your device unless you choose to share them outside the app. Clearing app data deletes the local copy.
Photos and Receipt Reading
Photos are used to fill draft grocery fields. The app asks you to review uncertain fields before saving. If an AI or platform model is unavailable, you can enter the item manually.
Analytics
Cupboard can send privacy-conscious aggregate analytics through PostHog when analytics is configured in a release build. We use event names and non-sensitive funnel properties to understand crashes, onboarding, recipe use, and Pro conversion. We do not send grocery names, notes, photos, or personal cupboard contents to PostHog.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple. Cupboard does not receive your full payment card details. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
