Questions
How accurate is the preview?
Tress is a visualization tool — it shows you a realistic preview of how a cut or color could look on you, to help you decide and communicate with your stylist. It's a guide, not a guarantee of the exact salon result, which depends on your hair, your colorist, and the products used.
What happens to my selfie?
Your selfie is used only to generate your try-on. We don't sell your photos, use them to train AI, or share them. See our Privacy Policy for exactly how photos are handled.
What looks can I try?
Colors from blonde and copper to brunette, red, balayage, and silver, plus cuts and bangs — bobs, lobs, pixies, layers, and curtain or blunt fringe. New looks are added over time.
What does it cost?
Tress is free to start. Tress Pro unlocks unlimited try-ons and the full library of cuts and colors as an auto-renewable subscription through Apple.
Tress is a preview and visualization tool to help you picture a look and talk to your stylist — not a promise of your exact salon result. Always consult a professional before a major color or cut.
