No — that's the whole point. Snap a receipt or a photo of your groceries and Cupboard fills in the items for you. You can also type or quick-add anything manually. It's built for real life, not warehouse management.
Where does my data live?
On your phone. Your inventory is stored on-device, and Ask Cupboard's AI answers are generated on your device too. No account required to use your cupboard.
Does it work for more than one home?
Yes — organize items by home (apartment, cabin, office kitchen) and by storage place (fridge, freezer, pantry), so "do we have coffee at the cabin?" finally has an answer.
What do the recipes look like?
Realistic ones. Cupboard suggests meals from what's actually in your kitchen, and when a recipe needs something you don't have, just the missing ingredients hop onto your shopping list. You can import your own favorite recipes too.
