Stride Privacy Policy
Effective September 6, 2026
Stride is a fitness challenge app with shared weekly boards. Your workouts are stored on your device. Stride has no accounts and we do not sell personal information.
Health Data Stays on Your Phone
With your permission, Stride reads your steps and workouts from Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android) so they count toward your challenge automatically. That health data is never uploaded — it stays on this phone. Stride does not write anything back to your health store.
Shared Challenge Boards
When you join or start a challenge, Stride stores a small profile on our server so other members can see the shared board: your display name, the challenge code, your weekly points, your workout count, your movement-day count, and a random device identifier. That is all. We do not collect your email, phone number, real identity, or any health or location data on our servers.
Leaving a challenge removes you from its board. Boards with no activity may be deleted.
Notifications
The optional weekly recap is a local notification scheduled on your device. Stride has no push notification server.
Children
Stride is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
