Stride Support
Stride is a fitness challenge app: log workouts (or let Apple Health count your steps), and compete with your team on a shared weekly board.
Starting or Joining a Challenge
Tap Teams, then Start a challenge to get a code, or Join a challenge and enter the code a teammate shared with you. Invites are also sent as links and QR codes — open one and your app joins the team automatically.
Steps Aren't Showing Up
Stride reads steps and workouts from Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android) when you give permission — they count automatically and never leave your phone. If the number looks wrong, check that Apple Health / Health Connect has data for the day, and in the system privacy settings make sure Stride is allowed to read steps and workouts.
Leaving a Challenge
On the board, tap your name and choose to leave. Your workouts stay in the app and still count in your other challenges.
Deleting Your Data
Stride has no accounts. When you join a challenge, only your display name, team name, and weekly totals (points, workouts, step days) are stored so the shared board works. To have that data erased:
- Leave the challenge from the board (tap your name → leave). New weeks won't include you.
- Email vilde@vevatne.no with the challenge code and your display name, and your stored entries will be deleted — usually within a few days.
Steps, workouts, and Health data itself never leave your phone, so there is nothing to delete server-side. Uninstalling the app removes everything on your device.
