Toll Support
Toll gates apps you choose behind a small study task: answer a few questions in Toll, or spend real minutes in a learning app, and the gated app opens for a window of time.
Gating Apps
On the Home tab, tap Choose apps to gate and pick them in Apple's picker. Toll gates up to two apps for free; Toll Pro removes the limit. Opening a gated app now shows the toll.
I Tapped "Solve in Toll" and Nothing Happened
That's expected: Apple's gate can only close itself, so you land on your Home Screen. Open Toll and your questions are waiting — answer them and the app you tapped opens for the whole window.
Study Time Isn't Unlocking
The study-time toll counts time you actually spend in the study app with it on screen, and Apple only tracks goals of 15 minutes or more. Check that your study app is selected in Settings › Tolls, that Study time is switched on, and that you stayed in the app for the full goal. The unlock can arrive a minute or so after the goal is reached.
The Gate Didn't Come Back After the Window
It re-locks on its own when the window ends. If it hasn't yet, open Toll once — it re-checks the clock every second while open and locks immediately.
Toll Hours
In Settings › Enforcement schedule, turn on Use schedule, pick days and a time range. Outside those hours your gated apps open freely, and Home shows "Free time".
Importing a Deck
Decks tab → ＋ → Import from JSON. Copy the prompt, paste it into any chatbot with your material, and paste the JSON it returns. Importing a deck with the same name merges new cards into it.
Restoring a Purchase
Open the Toll Pro screen (Settings › Upgrade to Toll Pro) and tap Restore purchases. Subscriptions are managed in your Apple Account settings under Subscriptions.
Deleting Your Data
Toll has no accounts or servers. Uninstalling the app removes everything, including any active gates.
