Does Sema require an account?
No. This build has no Sema account, login, or server copy of your chats and memories.

Why does Sema mention Apple Intelligence?
Apple Foundation Models require a supported device, supported iOS version, and Apple Intelligence enabled in Settings. If unavailable, Sema can offer a local Gemma model download.

How do I delete a memory?
Open Memories, select the memory, then tap Delete. To remove everything, open Settings and tap Clear all data.

Can Sema read my data without permission?
No. Sensitive device sources use iOS permission prompts and Sema's in-app permission gates.

Does web search send my data anywhere?
Only if you allow it. When web search is on and you ask about current events, Sema sends just your search question — private details removed — to Brave Search via Sema's server, and shows you the results' sources. Your chats, memories, and identity are never sent. You can turn web search off in Settings.

What is Sema Pro?
An optional auto-renewable subscription ($4.99/month or $24.99/year, billed through your Apple ID) that raises web search limits for more current answers. Everything else in Sema is free, and nothing about the free experience requires a subscription.
